Re: 210-A

Yes Luke It is a Streetrod. But when I looked inside the interior was nearly stock! Thanks for posting the picture of the largeAA style one. It's good to see a comparison. I guess I expected to see an "A" panel look more like the 28/29 models where they were basically a tudor with no rear si...

As promised Luke- here are some pics of the Simmons carb.I've never looked at another carb-is it very different from the Zenith and Tillotson? http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk133/farmerden/simmons%20carb/2011_0222_110800.jpg [/i http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk133/farmerden/simmons%20carb/...

Hey Harry. I checked my carb and-- just to be different it's a Simmons from Ohio. For the Model A.That sounds like an aftermarket carb doesn't it? Den

Re: I think we have a Canadian Cab ? any info out there?

Getting back to the truck -Harry did you build the spacers off of the frame to take the pick-up fender brackets? And those look like "A" pick-up rear fenders or were they available on "AA" s as well? Still a great looking truck and the yellow paint makes it a stand-out Den

Re: poor brakes on our early 28 .

I remember my Dad saying that if you had the brakes set up loaded [maybe overloaded!] then the truck wouldn't stop empty! I guess the brake rods were stretched under load and then had too much slack empty.Or maybe they had no brakes in the depression-They never had tires that's for sure -just rags!!...

Re: some extra shots of the 28 pepsi truck

My cab is only wood and it doesn't appear to have been metal originally-It's hard to tell with the condition of the wood! My front fenders are slightly different as well [I showed photos of ...

Re: Building a shed for the truck

Nice job on the shed! I'm building a shop as well and it will be 2 years in June! But the roof is on! All that was required was a siting permit cause I'm on a farm $50.00 and no inspections! That 's Harry in the photo isn't it? And yes he's got quite a place! Keep up the good work the snow is holdin...
