Re: Round speedo in a Early '30?

Hi Brady, no foot in mouth, just a good recollection! I'm new here and enjoy reading these posts, so far I have learned a lot, love the Model A and all its idiosyncrasies! Mine was a farm truck and I'm finding that although it seemed to be kept somewhat well maintained, maintained does not mean main...

Re: Round speedo in a Early '30?

There were some photos of an 82 B cab with the round speedo cloverleaf, and the wire tunnel was exposed, and looked obviously wrong. Could the tank have been changed also on the one you describe. That was probably mine you are referring to. http://s235.beta.photobucket.com/user/SteveK535/media/31%2...

Should body color = firewall color? What color is mine?

See the links below, the best match I can get from pictures I have searched on is Kewanee Green. No, I am not going to paint the body. My intention is to restore the engine compartment and interior but leave the rest untouched. I want to paint the fire wall and interior, to match the correct body co...

Stopped by Yuma, AZ last week and look what I found!

The Cloud Museum in Winterhaven, California. Johnnie Cloud is the owner of a lettuce farm. 20 years ago a big agricultural company asked him to lease his land to them. He hasn't had to work since and decided to collect Model As and Model Ts. He has over 100 Model Ts and probably 30+ Model As. Check ...

Horn type

I took off the horn from my recently acquired unrestored truck wanting to get it working and thinking it was a Spartan. It had no back cover on it so the internals were exposed, and because of that there are no markings on it whatsoever. Turns out it is not a motor driven horn but a vibrating electr...

Re: Hello all, new owner of a 31 AA Flatbed

Thanks guys! Neil, what should the instrument panel look like? Is there a part number you would have handy for it. Also, how do you tell its a Model A radiator? I'm real new, so if my questions are fundamental Model A 101, I apologize in advance.
