Getting it together. I was able to shim the flywheel housing to .003 (.006 max allowed) and runout on flywheel is .002 (.005 max allowed). i am hoping to get it in the truck next week. I made the tool in 10 mins using pipe from pipe clamp and a 3/4 by 1 inch reducer. The link shows cutting down a 1 1/4 to 3/4. I believe this is a typo. The 1 inch to 3/4 has a 1.75 outside diameter. keep it greased and it may never wear anymore. Cleaning up the drivers side spring and I found an issue - the brass bushing was worn all the way through and wore on one side of the top spring holders. Interesting - I had a set of caps on a truck and when I pulled front drivers it was a soup can. Fit pretty well. See bottom right of picture.
