AA rear axle assembly

The information is from a 1935 Ford parts list . grease retainers are parts #1175 in the drawing of the outter housing & part #4245 in the drawing showing the gears & axle. Thanks Neil for getting them posted for me , I couldnt get them reduced enough to post Bud

If you have the clevis pins in backwards it wont let the emergency shoes seat correctly preventing the drums from being installed. Both sides use the same emergency hardware so if you left them in tack you will need to swap sides or just remove the clevis pins & reinstall them with the cotter ke...

ring gear 31 teeth , worm gear 6 teeth = 5.17 to one , 29 teeth ring gear, worm gear 4 teeth = 7.25

flywheel

The A & AA flywheel is a two step surface , you have to remove the same amount from each step or it won't work . i hope who ever turned it for remembers how much he took off so he can correct your problem

Replace it with a good case ,I wouldn't take a chance with it , there are to many transmissions out there to waste your time & money on welding up one. I have about ten extra tranmissions that are avaible . Bud Valerius
