Your front mount looks alright to me but it probably needs to be tightened up to pull the front of the engine down. Are you sure you are turning the crank in the right direction because
it should pull it in as you turn and push it out when it starts.

Depending on when it was built the car axle may be correct. If some one put a 30-31 cross member
in I think you will have to shim the radiator up. What is the frame number?

Darwin, If the truck has been sitting a long time some of the valves
may be stuck open. Take out the spark plugs and have some one crank the
engine while you watch the valves through the spark plug hole.

The horn button-light rod has to come out before you can take the steering wheel off. You have to take the
light switch off the bottom of the steering column and then remove the spider after that you can pull the light
switch rod out of the column. The image is from Bratton's catalog.
