Re: I need help with 29AA
Are you sure this AA is a 1929? Does it have the original engine? If so what is the number on it or the registration? Which rims and rearend does it have? Is it a 3 or 4 speed? Does it have a screw on or twist lock gas cap?

Re: I need help with 29AA
My family has recently acquired the 1929 model AA stakebed truck that my great grandfather used in his business many years ago. But, it needs an expensive restoration. There is someone in this area that has all the parts I will need but they are for a 1930 AA. They look the same to me but this is m...

Wanted 1931 20" AA Wire Wheels
I am looking for a set of four 1931 20" AA Wire Wheels with split rims. These were used on Delux Deliveries, Funeral Car's, and Ambulance's. I also need the brake drums to go with them as they do not use the standard AA bolt pattern.

Re: 1930-1931 Wheels?
Of the three types of 5-hole wheels, any of the first or second type steel wheels would be great. As long as they are are in good shape and do not have the raised ring used on the late 1931 models. The difference in offset from the first and second type is very slight. I am trying to get a good set...

Re: Where to get plating done?
Floyd at Magna Plating on California in Burbank, CA will Cadmium plate anything you can fit in a 15 gallon drum for 50 bucks. He didn't charge me anything extra to do 6 20" wheel snap rings. UPS goes to his door and he is a Model A owner himself.

The BB bell housing is different and they don't have the pedal mounting shaft on them. All the BB gears will go into the AA case.

Re: AA ring and pinion gears.
[quote="modeleh"]Alan Wernstrum in California had taken on the ring gear project awhile back, and the general consensus of the poll was to try and get 4.11 sets made. He is a busy guy and it's a complicated project, so it will take time. I seem to remember him saying in an email that the '...
