Re: Trailer and tow vehicle to transport model AA?

I use my 1994 dodge v10 dually manual trans and a hydraulic tilt bed trailer that I built myself. Seriously though, any full size pickup or suv with a properly maintained trailer and brakes can pull these trucks. They only weigh between 2800 and 4000 lbs. Before I got a bit smarter, I used to pull ...

i think hes referring to your first sentence, i think you mean emergency or parking brake handle not service brake handle... I got what you were trying to say ;)

Re: Trailer and tow vehicle to transport model AA?

yea i was considering that, but this isnt the first time a 16 or 18 ft trailer would have come in handy, or a full size truck...i only have a 2wd 4cyl s10 and a 4x8 trailer. while ive done alot and hauled well over its limits a fullsize is just needed sometimes.

Re: Trailer and tow vehicle to transport model AA?

yea hence why Im asking now of whats the best to get. Braking and being to control it needs a full size hands down that i get. A 350 engine will get it moving - maybe not the fastest or up the side of a mountain easily but it can if it had to. Electric trailer brakes and a brake controller is hands ...

Re: Trailer and tow vehicle to transport model AA?

yea mines not going to be a fine point vehicle that i can be certian of. Im just going for a mechanically sound good from 10 feet away driver haha. But at the same time i dont want to have the top ripped or sun visor fly off when im trailing it anywhere. Yea if money were no object closed trailer wi...

Trailer and tow vehicle to transport model AA?

This is for long off in the far distant future but i was wondering if any of you transport your AA's to shows and whatnot and what kind of tow vehicle do you use and what kind of trailer? Obviously some full size something (tahoe, pickup, etc) as a tow vehicle but trailer type? Open? closed? How bad...
