I would think having a professional spring shop rebuild existing would be a good option. I used to be a fleet mechanic for a bakery. I had fourteen one ton Chevys and GMCs (1960-73 models). I really don’t know what I have yet. As soon as I get a chance I’ll check serial numbers. Every thing I see so far leans toward 1930. Really anxious to get into it!

Hello all. I am in Hurricane, WV. I have very little info on the truck. A friend of mine bought it on my behalf at an estate auction. (I got a really good deal.) I did speak to the second previous owner by phone. He had traded it to previous owner for T parts. He said at that time 1 1/2- 2 years ago...
