Shouldn't the U bolts be Parkerized? Not bright plated.

Re: Gear oil
I was told the the original 600 WT Ford Fudge contained whale oil. That is what gave it its distinctive smell.

Re: Need PTO for 1928 AA with 3-speed/2-speed set up
Both my 1930 four speed and my Warfors have six polt plates over the PTO location. But this Ford list of assceeories shows what appears to be a three hole?

Re: Vehicle Weight?
When I have to move a vehicle I rent a U Haul car trailer and move it myself with my own pickup. When my pickup died I rented one from Enterprise Rent A Car for the round trip. Lots cheaper than freight costs. Here is the weight of a late 1930 SWB AA. When it says chassis that is the weight of the c...

Start shopping for a Warford Auxiliary Transmission or a Mitchell Overdrive. Of course High Speed Gearing is a must for those speeds.

Re: Hub Puller Reply
What about this. Go find a nut that will screw onto the center of the hub where I'm guessing the wheel cap screws on. With the nut screwed on, install a bearing splitter behind it. Attach the forked puller to the splitter and it comes off slicker then greased glass? This is what I'm going to try th...

Re: 4 blade or 2 blade fan
I am interested in any feedback on performance issues anyone may have had with either a 4 blade or a 2 blade fan on an AA. I think the 4 blade was the original for a truck. However I have also heard that a 4 blade fan will take away some power. On the other hand would a 2 blade fan cool the truck e...
