Re: Warford
I've had some experience with the transmissions and I can say that this unit is worn out. Look at the taper on the gears. This shows considerable wear and no amount of "rebuilding" will correct the loud (screaming) that will come from driving in overdrive. If the gears are not too bad they...

Pitting will not polish out without loosing much of the original detail. One hundred and five dollars................................. I have a nos set; wonder what they're worth?

Re: Panel Truck
I would estimate there are less than five of these in complete running condition left in the world. I know of two that have been modified with modern engines/running gear.

These bumpers are not that hard to find, keep posting. I have one but it's on my '30 parts truck, you'd have to take the whole truck.

Not worth anything, there's millions of them out there. The rare lug wrench would be the early '28 AA version.

Just put a price on them, what difference does it make "fair price"? What's "fair" to you?

Re: beware AA title wanted
How on earth can we "ruin it for other people in the future"? There are several ways to obtain a registration for any vehicle, although States do differ. I would use any method I could come up with to get my legally-owned truck registered, including faking it, after all our failed, illegal...

Re: Modesto A's Turlock, CA Swap Meet Jan 28/29.
All the good stuff goes the night before when the swappers trade it back and forth. I've been going for forty years but now no use to get up at three am, drive two-hundred miles and spend five dollars on a hotdog. Depends on what you're looking for and why. Pre-war is non-existant (almost) and every...

Re: Modesto A's Turlock, CA Swap Meet Jan 28/29.
The Turlock swap meet is a waste of time unless you're looking for some Chinese junk and like rubbing shoulders with a bunch of tourists and women pushing baby buggys. Virtually nothing pre-war.
