Re: 1 1/2 Weight Tag
I know someone that has a working Zenith "Quad" 8-track player, with "Quad" speakers and "Quad" headphones. Sounds incredible! It might be old, but it still works great - like our trucks!

Shipping might be a show-stopper for many, but if they are willing to drive to pick them up you might get more takers. What is your city/state?

Re: Fuel Filter
The finer-filtering filters will not work on gravity-fed fuel systems as they restrict the flow too much. I have run into this problem a couple times in the past with garden tractors. I've used filters rated at 150 microns or more in the past, and they seem to work fine.

Re: fuel system
I would still be concerned that you might generate a spark, as the air rushing through the inside of the house can still generate static electricity on the surface of the hose!

Re: Ford Barn
Sounds like you have a virus my friend! I would ensure your anti-virus definitions are up to date and then run a full system scan. If that doesn't fix it, I have had ALOT of success with a program called combofix. You can get it here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/combofix/dl/12/ Good luck!

I am pretty sure we are talking about the upcoming meet in Puyallup, WA. I will be there with my FMAATC t-shirt, but unfortunately won't have my '29 there with me.

Re: "Engine vs Motor" - let the debate begin!
Hayslip - Sounds like a good idea. I was trying to do two things with my original post 1) Move the already in-progress debate to another thread before I commented, and 2) Share with others what I had found out. But I agree - to use the terminology that Henry laid out is more appropriate for this for...

Re: "Engine vs Motor" - let the debate begin!
Wow - the only reason I did this was to try and clarify something that was being discussed in the last four threads of another 'hijacked' topic. Your comments are offensive.
I see you changed the previous thread to be less offensive. Thank you.

"Engine vs Motor" - let the debate begin!
This topic was originally started under the buy/sell forum, but decided to continue it here in a more correct forum... I have heard many people debate this topic. Personally I believed that a motor was electrical and an engine was, at the most rudimentary, a device that converts thermal energy to me...

Interesting debate - I have started another thread so this one doesn't get hijacked. Please see "Engine vs Motor" topic.

I will be going to the MAFCA meet in Puyallup. Not bringing the truck though. I'm the one sporting a new "Ford Model AA Truck Club" t-shirt!
