Does anyone know if there are higher wattage 6V headlamp bulbs that can be used in an 6V system? Also, what is the current rating for the original generator? I would think you could get more than enough brightness out of the original system if it is set up optimally.

Thanks, I should have thought of that. So now I know that the splash shield won't work on my truck. If anyone wants a 30-31 splash shield, there is one here in western WA. He is asking $10 for it.

I need a radiator splash shield for my '29, and have located one that is from a 1930 truck. I know they changed the style about mid-1930, but I don't know exactly what changed. Does anyone have any pictures of the differences between the two styles so I can be sure to get the correct one for my truc...

This is a BRAND-NEW model AA! Hasn't even been released to the public yet. Maybe they tried to update the year and goofed - now says "2016 ford model aa"!

The number of teeth on the brass gear divided by the number of teeth on the spiral gear determine the ratio. High-speed rear ends have 31 teeth on the brass gear and 6 teeth on the spiral gear. 31/6=5.166666666 or 5.17:1 ratio. Low speed rear ends have 29 teeth on the brass gear and 4 teeth on the s...
