Re: Ride hight?

Never mind, I guess I do not explain myself well. i think its just because we dont understand what your trying to do. like what is your end goal? what are you trying to build? there may be a language barrier as well and we dont mean to offend but we have never ever had someone request that measurem...

Re: leaf spring restoration

Thanks for your reply, Chris. What is gained by spring restoration? Does it improve the ride? As a practical matter, I don't envision loading this AA with enough weight to challenge the suspension. if all the springs are apart, sandblasted to remove all rust, painted, then some graphite slip plate ...

Re: 88-A Platform Bed Questions

Thanks Neil. If anyone is interested, I do have #6 cross members available. 2 of them are made to the exact original dimensions except the top flange is 1/2" short. I only have 1 inner shelf for these ($275 with the shelf, $250 without the shelf) 1 of them, a couple of the holes are off by 0.0...

Re: tire wear on outside slight one side

I asked this question a decade ago, i was told to check out an RV or semi repair place that has the tools to straighten solid front i beam axles. Those guys would be in the know. Fyi if i remember right AAs and As had a bit of positive camber on the wheels. Castor yes is largely set by the condition...
