Re: AA Snowmobile, 12 Volts?
One thing to watch out for with 12 volt going to a 6 volt starter is excessive wear and chipped teeth on the flywheel ring gear.

Re: Help with ID
This is what I found about the numbers that you provided.
AA1826250 = June 1929
A2732811 = December 1929
This is a link to where I found the info.

I'm not sure why there would be two numbers on the engine block. Maybe I am missing something.

AA valve stem?
I'm looking for a schrader double bent type valve stem assembly used on the 30/31 trucks. I would like to use it as an example to see about making some reproductions. Does anyone have one of these they can sell me? Is there an easier / cheaper way to go for valve stems? What about the dust caps? One...

My bumper looks to be similar to a Model A car bumper.

AA Bumpers
What is the different between Model A bumpers and the AA trucks bumpers? I have a mid to late 1930 AA. I had heard that the AA bumpers were thicker or wider or something. The judging standards mention a heavy-duty bumper.

Re: New AA finds
I don't think it was a mis-strike. I think a second 'A' was added over the 'star' and then another 'star' was added. The question is, was it done at the factory on the assembly line or was it added some time later. As far as value goes, it is about as valuable as any rusty 'A' block would be. John NNY

Re: New AA finds
Under the first 'A', there is a faint 'star' behind it. So, at the beginning of the serial number there are two 'stars' and two 'A's".

New AA finds
I recently picked up a AA tractor frame, a 1931-ish dump truck, a spare engine with 3-speed tranny, spare block, and an early AA spoke wheel front end. All that for about $750. Pictures are located at the link below. The tractor brakes and drums look great for spare parts. The U-joint looks almost n...

Install wheel ?
How do you install the rim locking piece without dammaging or chiping the paint on the rim abd the finish on the rim locking ring? Any pointers on installing the tube and tire? It is not an issue for me yet because mine are still quite rusty.

What part of the country are you in? Does the frame have wheel, drums or brakes?
