Cruising along at 30-35 mph and makes a clunking noise and dies. Pulled the timing gear cover and gear teeth are shredded about one th...

Re: FAQ for AA dummies?

Also, be prepared to tinker with it every time you want to drive it, it needs constant oil and grease checks. They are definitely a truck that you drive, you don,t just get in it and go, there...

74FF44F7-21F0-4F7A-BEB5-3FAAE0B3934B.jpeg If I understand you correctly you were talking about wear on the shaft of the perch that drops through the wishbone yoke to tie it to axle on either side? Mine has a little wear here also I was thinking about addressing in some manner. Not sure how yet or e...

Re: Front spring perch question
Thank you Neil for the response. I think I just found my problem, I thought I was getting slip in the spring perch where goes through the axle, but it was back at the ball under the tranny! But On the same subject, are there bushings in the front axle and wish bone where they all come together at sp...

Re: AA Truck Wheels
These trucks have so little value anymore because the guys that have any interest in them are dying off. I always shake my head when I see what some guys are trying to get for their parts. Hell, I give my spare parts away just because I want to see the trucks stay around and driven!

Agreed, damn sure not gonna speed in an AA, unless you’re in a school zone!Chris Haynes wrote: ↑September 24th, 2019, 7:47 pmProbably for a machine engine. Such as a Smith air compressor or a piece of farm equipment. Speeding in an AA is extremely hard to do.
