Since the AA frame is the same width as the A frame until a few inches behind the
rear motor mount and most of the splash apron does not sit on the frame I don't
see any need for 2" welt.

These pictures may help.
horn rod may need sanding to fit in the steering shaft.
Most of the parts won't fit without some work. The U-clip will probably need filing, the spider may not fit on the horn rod and thehorn rod may need sanding to fit in the steering shaft.

the thing is, I don’t know how long it should be. I need to know the length of the running boards on a Ford aa track 1931 1.5 t car. Can anyone measure the length of these footboards on their car with a tape measure? in centimeters or inches Neil gave you a link with all the measurements on 12-6-20...

Snyder's web site and Reds34 have both stated the running boards are 29 1/2 inches long.

I did a quick measurement and it looks like if you use an "A" rear mount in
a "AA" the engine will be one inch lower at the rear mount.

There should be a couple of pins holding the coupling to the driveshaft and pinion gear.
