Re: 12 Volt

12V will spin a starter real good, maybe too good. I've found it a little hard on bendixes (bendixs... bendicies... bendii... whatever!) both of the original and "bulletproof" styles. I switched over to 12V internals in my starter and things are much smoother and I haven't bent a starter s...

Re: 1928 AA Hearse for sale

That pic smells funny Alan, my initial thought ws it might have been a mail truck or coachbuilt delivery with a hearse type side light slapped on. Definitely an A, not AA and why don't the trim lines match? Anybody got any old stock photos of A/AA funeral coaches? Seems like I saw one in the last mo...

Re: Dual Wheel - Tire side wall clearance

So even using the later wheels only results in an added 1/4 in of clearance on a set of duals?

Re: Dual Wheel - Tire side wall clearance

Is there a difference in offset between the reinforced wheels and the non-reinforced wheels? If so how much? Thanks. Luke

Re: 4-Speed Trouble, Hydraulic Hoist

Welcome to the board Earlcr. Snyders still offers a bunch of parts for the 4spd, not sure but others may also. http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/aatru ... isc?page=6
Unfortunately it looks like about $950 for a complete new set of gears. Luke

I believe ...
