Re: Rear body bolt location and seat pan

There are two seat frames, an early and late. I have both and they are each notched for the body bolt.
Here is a picture from Snyder's showing the two seat frames.

Re: Spicer Axel Components

Not sure how big your parts are but could you adapt some early Ford parts like this
and maybe the end of a torque tube or a clam shell?

Re: Spicer Axel Components

Best I can tell from the parts book the big bell is a Inner Casing Assembly AAC 100008 R and the other part
is an Outer Casing Assembly (slip joint) AAC 100009 AR. There is also a Casing Spring (slip joint) AAC 100012 AR.

Re: Dropping out of 4th

The 4-speed transmission parts were used into the early 50's which may help expand your search.
Jumping out of gear could also be caused by worn bearings especially the one in the input shaft that the
main shaft fits into, 7120 in the picture.

Re: Speedo cable

The Ford parts book shows the casing AA-17261-A is 81.0" long and the shaft AA-17262-A is 82.2" .
Snyder's shows the complete cable 85" long and Bratton's shows 89"

If your going to adjust the brakes I would follow the instructions in the Service Bulletins.
