All model A's & AA's originally came with pop out security switches. If it is a non pop out then it is a replacement, or reproduction switch.

yup, I bought a set of "29" off ebay a couple years back that turned out to be 30. Mine are off some other odd truck, not correct, still looking.

Well, you need the tires,flaps and tubes. You will have to reside if you are going for a show truck (Goodyear,Firestone, BF Goodrich- will cost a lot. $200 ++). Well, I just talked to Bert's model A. He was Very helpful,gave me the # of a re builder, he was nice and helped me get the old speedo freed up.
So now I know how to fix em . So now another cable to get, some times you learn hard, but good. Mac...

I have it all apart , but can't get the main shaft out , the one with the magnet on top. I repair clocks,and have a 1 gal sonic cleaner, so am trying that.

make sure to lube the new cable. Also make sure that your speedometer is clean and turns REALLY free( mine froze up and snapped the new cable.
