crosscut-I replaced all the wood cab mounts with a kit from macsautoparts.com. I ordered the wood,rubber shims and bolts. Everything Ihave bought from them is excellent quality and fits well. Replaced the top wood with a kit from macs also. They will send you a paper catalog if you want one. Radar

these alum rad have the cap under the hood and no dummy neck so I have to figure out a way to mount the cap to the shell without drilling holes. I'm planning to leave the rad natural alum and put a stainless stone guard in front of it since I will be driving it alot Radar

there is a process to painting aluminum I think you wash it with a chemical first but i'm not sure. Radar

If you want to use your original front axle think about this- measure the axle boss thickness at the kingpins and the diameter of the kingpins and compair with modern spindles then redrill the hubs. Bob, the frame is boxed from the front crossmember to the motor mounts and in the rear where I c'ed the frame for axle clearance.
