thank you for info. i have heard of rivet bolts that look authentic. they use them on old jeeps. anyone have any experience with these. what type of a rivet gun would be needed to put authentic rivets on this express box? air gun? torch and hammer? not rivet savvy.

i have a dec 28 AA with any express body. i had the sides repaired. was the entire body riveted together from start? my body came in pieces. say for example the head board.... was it riveted or bolted? if bolted were they square nuts? any photos of an original express body?? thank you, kevin

i thought about that. cut the profile of the wheel well. cut the edge off a straight section, bend and weld with a mig welder and grind. most likely undetectable as long as i do not do the welding. i have a friend who is very talented with this type of work. any other folks have ideas?

sounds like he isn't having a problem having your money without sending out product. seems weird, i ordered some cross members and got them in a timely fashion. the money is what motivates someone to fix a problem.... keep me posted, did he offer a refund??
