Re: my restoration of 29 AA
The sheet metal in the A models Is very easy to straiten and get all the dents out and get it back to original contours. I love doing the metal work and seeing the great finished work. I won't get in to that unless some one is interested and replies. It takes time to look up pictures to post. Shelby...

Re: my restoration of 29 AA

I'm having a problem posting with this darn computor. more to come if needed. Shelby PC290015.JPG Most of the replacement panel t...

Re: my restoration of 29 AA
P9280210.JPG Jeff, I don't know where you are and what you need to start with. The green coupe has NO bondow or fiberglass anywhere. I used about a pint, maybe, of metal to metal( an aluminum base filler) ( to feather out some rusty pits that was needed to smooth out the surface) , most all the weld...

P2050045.JPG Gun metal, looking at the pictures, and the work has not been done yet. I hope you are a good welder, if no no big problem. If you don't have a Mig welder you will need one or maybe find a better cab. This cab can be rebuilt to look like new again. If you can't weld you have plenty to ...

Re: 1928 ford AA truck
Looking at 'AA' truck parts is saying that the person got into more than he wanted :( :( :( and gave up on the truck :( :( When a person gets one of these ole boy they need to do miner repairs leaving the truck altogether. You can repair or replace any part at any time. If done like the one one the ...

'A' engine running hot !
We know there are several things that will cause the 'A' model to run hot :P I read an artificial a few days age, I've never heard this before. Spark plugs can also cause the 'A' model to run hot. My '29 roadster pick-up ran many, many miles probably with the same plugs the was in it when my Dad ove...

Re: Building a shop in my back yard in Sacramento SIMPLE
I'm giving up on building I designed myself. In Louisiana I would have no problem building it. I thought that they (city of Sac.) could use the tax. I'm ording my building out of Tenn. and pay no tax, thanks to city of Sac. More later on this. Shelby, Sacramento

Re: Metal man needed
Hello Chris, no I'm not into the wood working. It's kinda simple, full of head scratching. I think that your best bet would be to find and older cabinet maker to do your wood. They can make anything out of would except (granite) your cabinet makers may can BUT don't have the experience. venture out,...

Well, When I got there they had all the wires to the ign. all messed up. They had taken the ign. coil off a '5...

Re: Metal man needed
This is a believe it or not. When I started this project I remove a couple of bondo and plenty of fiber-glass tons of rust and no metal at all. There was no place on the body that was not bent. The sun visor was even bent and covered with dondo . Ordered a mew sun visor, but did not use it. I straig...
