Inner Race
After setting one of my front inner races into place I flipped the wheel over and the race fell out. It was tight going in. Question: Without spending too much $ on it, has anybody had the inside of the wheel machined to raise bits, so that the race might hold in place and be snug?

Re: I need some tips on keeping cool
The GVA:
Carburetor Adjustment Knob, often called the GAV (Gas Air Valve) inside the cab.
Like mentioned above, if you run too retarded, it will overheat.
Good luck,

Re: Which radius rod would you use?
I would use the best one as you do want control of your front end. It will also help stabalize your drive.
I was very happy when I brought mine back to good shape. It doesn't wonder all over the road any more.

I kept a log of the miles I drove my truck this year and see I racked up a whopping 239 miles.

Finished Carbs
I'm so happy the way both of my Zenith-2 Carbs turned out after I completely restored them inside and out. They appear new and should work well. If I could remember how to post photos I would show them off. Also, I appreciate all the info and help I received during the job.

Re: Inside the Venturi
My venturi is stuck in the top piece and is seated well. It comes together well with gasket so I don't see a problem there. I did receive my "Zenith Model A Carburetor Restoration Guidelines" book written by Mr. Steve Pargeter, which goes into so much good detail. I recomend this book to a...
