Re: Relocated fuel tank
Geez does a Model AA need that many wires? I think you should have done this truck a service and just bought a 70s model Ford instead. I think your discussion would probably be more welcomed on The H.A.M.B. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk List of what the wires are for?? Tac, Amp, temp. gage,,...

Re: Relocated fuel tank
It is sad that a gas tank that has survived for 80 years has been destroyed. I agree, however, I also owned a 28 Model A pickup that always had the smell of raw gas in the cab , it was restored and bone stock , loved it but could not have driven as much as I plan to this one! This truck will be use...

Re: Dismantling doors
Before getting on the screws too hard, Eastwood now makes a tool they call a "Screw Buster" SKU 32037. It makes it possible to impact the screws out sometimes without damage so that many of the screws can even be reused. Even with this, WD-40 is the first step as it helps minimize damage ...

Relocated fuel tank
I deleted my cowl tank by cutting the bottom out of it so I could use the space behind the dash panel for my heater and update wiring system including fuse center. I found this gas tank to mount as a saddle tank on side of truck. I'm planning on using my truck for regular jobs in my business and wan...

Early 30 truck
Bob C, you were correct on my truck, I bought it as a 1928, but upon reasearching the serial #, it was built in Feb. 1930, So I have the opportunity to correct the title but should I bother, the chassis and hydraulic dump bed are 1930, but the rest is 28/29? It is titled currently as a 28.

Re: 28 parts for sale
I also have a cowl panel set from Mac's, brand new in the box. They sent me the wrong parts and will not return them because they sat on my parts shelf too long before I figured it out. It is the Browñ crush grain part # KP7131. It is for a 30-31, I needed a 28-29. My loss is your gain. $150 plus s...

Re: How many classes of AA trucks
I guess what I find so confusing is that some AA trucks are single rear wheel and others are dual, so one would naturally think the dually would be rated higher.

Re: How many classes of AA trucks
Ok, then mine just has the heavier front axle, is the dual wheel the same as single wheel same weight rating?
