Marty, I would remove the assy. from the back of engine and bring to a vise to hold the assy. Rotate the shaft as far as possible each way and check to see it the shalf is bent or binding. slide the shaft side to side, you may need to remover the return spring to do this. No, I had a problem with the computer coming back up the last time I brought it it the repair shop. It would not turn on when I got home. I called a computer expert in Virginia, he said it was fixing to go out. The only the he said was to turn it off over night and it may come back up. Which it did ...

Well, I lost the rest of it all a couple days ago. Had a power outage for about 40 minutes. When the power came back on my computer was gone. Had to replaced this time. Would not resessatate . The is first post on new computer. Haven't got it figured out yet :) Shelby, Sacramento

1928-29 cowl lower bolts to frame ?

I have this 28-29 model AA that has this set up on both sides the frame,under the cowl. They both look the same and looks factory. Has anyone saw this before. This is the only one that I've ever seen. It has a channel under both sides.

I had problems with logging -in and staying logged-in. If I typed a long post I would get dropped out when I hit the submit and loose a post that I spent an hour or more to type in was gone. Mac, To the best of my knowledge There is a retainer or screw that holds the main drive. It's been three yrs. seems you have to go through a different way check that way as an option. Shelby
