Re: Spare tire carrier bolt size

Re: Spare tire carrier bolt size

Hi Neil: Followed the link to the AA wheels and just saw the "F-18" discs. I had two of those on the rear of a doodlebug that I gave to a friend. Are they a rare or sought after item ?

Re: WANTED: Restored Early 30 AA

I think it's a 1933 - doesn't look like the '32 firewall, and the V8 emblem isn't on the hood louvers. Looks nice, and would make someone a great truck. What's the price ?

Just received the latest "Double A'er" magazine. Thank you Neil - they just keep getting better and better all the time. There'll be a little extra for the coffee pot in my renewal.

Re: early cowl....

'28/9 Fordor and cabbies had a smooth cowl with removable tank, but I haven't heard of the indentation at the firewall. There were 11 different gas tanks produced throughout.

Re: Brake assembly

Bob: It may be in Jim Schild's book - "AA Supplement --" Look it up, and it's a great book to have in any case. The McMillan book is interesting, but not technical. Good luck.

Re: New Facebook Group for Model AA Ford Truck Lovers

Your question has a interesting tone. Made me think that the two could be looked at in such a way: This site is tremendous, and rather like a college - whereas face book would be like visiting after class. The two really should not be compared or judged one against the other. Mike Greene has provide...

The "Depot Hack" would (usually) have had provisions for passengers and cargo, The AA above looks great, and would be a challenging project.
