Matt,
They go at the ball end of the brake cam shaft. Let me know if you need a picture and I will try to take on for you. I am off for vacation for about a week.

Hello Everyone, Just for your understanding. This aa-fords.com site belongs to Mike. He created this site quite a long time ago since he had/has an AA which he is working on. Mike offered to create a separate site for the Ford Model AA Truck Club. It is at fmaatc.org. It has a button to click which ...

FYI - The smooth style wheel was used until about March 1931. The wheel with the reinforcement started as early as February 1931.

This may make you search easier.

Hello s147881, Original wheels did not have rust pits and hammer marks. The edge of the wheel where the removable flange (lock ring) attaches is many times marked with hammer marks. These need to be ground/sanded to make them like original. The same applies to the lock ring. There is a place here in...

Hello Gary, Sometime in '28 (like by April), the bracket was moved to the frame. It is unique to the AA like the prior two versions. Sometime in '29, the bracket for the A commercial was used on the AA and the frame was stamped for its attachment. Prior to April '28, the tail light bracket mounted t...

The prices are about the same as the Benson Research Center at "The Henry Ford". Photocopies are one $.25 but an 8x10 photograph or a digital image is $50. I order digital images for the photographs to go into the newsletter for 2007. The printer requires 300 dpi to get a good reproduction...

Clicking on the .tiff line still does not work for me.

Okay, I was able to save the picture by right clicking the enlarged picture. But, it is a low resolution. When I click to get a .jpg line, the file shows up but nothing happens when I right click. When I click on the .tiff line, the .tiff picture will not show up and this is probably becaues of my p...

Hello Edwin,
I found the three photos. Is there a way to down load photos from the web site? The instructions for obtaining a copy says it can be done but gives no procedures for doing so.

Hello Roadster AA,
I have one usable (but not platable) AA steel spoke wheel hub cab to sell for $20 + shipping. If you have a platform truck. This hub cap would work for the spare wheel once you find good hub caps. See the pictures below.

Hello Richard,
The boards you have are for the '28 through early '30. There is not a left and right so the Ford script ends up in the opposite direction.

The '28 boards have the inside/outside edges crimped sharp (like the A commercial board). I early '29 the boards have radius edges.
