The u-joint you have is it the riveted together type or the one that has the replaceable cross ?.

Brian, The pin should have a cotter. Springs which were attached to the pin were at the head originally. The rocker arm you have is AA-2521-B D1 (see above drawings). My eyes maybe deceiving me, the drum in your picture appears to be a front drum?, as for the 2 bearings I do not believe anything goes between them.

Just a thought --- do you have a Hi-Lo unit in the truck?. possibly a Warford,? if so it may have been bumped into neutral.

Thanks Keith, ---- So is this the hub for the T-O bearing for the 4 speed AA trans?, I understand they are needed along with the 4 speed clutch housing to install the F150 trans into a model A.
