Hi Tom. Can you tell us how do you put gas in the tank? Is the gas gauge about 2" in diameter like other gauges? I had the same idea except I'll make mine out of 16 ga steel, if so where can I buy the sending unit and gauge?

Hi guys. I own a 29 AA , I haven't started the restoration process yet. I have measured the bolt pattern with calipers and I'm sure its 5 on 6 7/8 circle. I also have a 30 AA, the rims are different but the bolt pattern is the same. I've done alot of thinking on brakes. Recently on the Fordbarn site...

Did the wood on a 29 AA flat bed measure 1 1/4" thick and 7" wide? It looks like there was 9 boards and there was 8 metal strips? Were there any metal strips used on the two outside boards closest to the side pockets or did they use only carriage bolts? Was the wood rough sawn or was it pl...
