Mike, I would definitly buy a whole new radiator, Copper and Brass age over time and becomes harder and easier to crack. John

Many people think that if its not new, its not good enough but a lot of the new stuff is horrible cheap Chinese junk.
I have been driving my Model A for 14 years and have driven to three states. 8 hour trips are common. I had a new core put in years ago and have had no problem.
I also have a 1939 Ford pickup that I have driven every day for 17 years and have to say there is nothing wrong with the old metal in the radiator. I have never owned a new car.

I used to use brass works radiators but lately they are having problems with fit and lower water neck not being sodered correctly. Try BERGS RADIATOR
