Floor mats?
I have not seen floor mats sold for the AA TRuck but I could be wrong about availability. A recent discussion on the Barn caught my eye. The originator was asking for a blank, no hole mat, so he could cut his own to fit a later transmission adaptation. One of the last Posts was from Mr. Bratton:
"We are in the process of having a run of our own floor mats made. I just got off the phone with the factory and they are willing to make some 30-31 floor mats for me with out the holes for the gear shift lever or the emergency brake cut out. Right now I told the factory to only make 5 but if there is a bigger demmand I can have more of them run. Just give us a call and talk to Jeff. If we get a bunch of requests in the next couple of days we might be able to add more to the run."
Could this be a opportunity to add to the order for those of us who need AA Mats?

Re: Floor mats?
For many years I used a rubber mat with backing that I ordered from J.C. Whitney. I don't know they still have them or not.

Re: Floor mats?
Seems there is a bit of interest.
Any of you guys close to Brattons and feel like giving Jeff a call?
"Just give us a call and talk to Jeff"
I know I would need one.

Re: Floor mats?
Just get on Bratton's web site and click on "contact us" and let them (Jeff) know. They answered my email in a couple hours. They still think they are ordering a small quantity of mats. More people should let them know so that they order enough.

Re: Floor mats?
from Jeff at Brattons
"Sir you are correct about the floor mats. We are having some of the 30-31
style mats made without any holes cut for the transmission or the emergency
brake lever. I have about 12 of them coming on this order. Once those 12
run out I can put another order in with the factory for more of them and I
can have more in about 3-4 weeks. As of right now I think we have sold 4 of
the 12 that are due in about 3 weeks, so there are still quite a few left to
be sold."

Re: Floor mats?
So what range of years are the floor mats interchangeable? Will these 30-31's fit in a 28/29?

Re: Floor mats?
The floor mat I have in my 29 is the same as the model A, you will have to cut the holes for the high- low pedal, The only thing I noticed was the mat retainer holes come up short, maybe the commercial cabs have other dimensionsdan plantz wrote:could use one for my 29 dual high
This pic is from Bert's in Denver, and is like the one I have, Snyder's and Brattons are not the same, maybe a generic pic?.
