Who'd be interested

Post by Ford Truck Nut »

i am going to be making a few sets of 28-29 floorboards. They will be dovetailed and made out of maple.
Who would be interested in a set?

I'm interested enough to want more information. My '29 has the center mounted E-brake. What I don't know yet is when Henry made the switch to plywood. Can anyone help with that? Have you worked out a price yet? Thanks.

hmm well i know my march of 29 had the separate planks held together with the thick metal straps if that helps when they switched - but im sure its one of those things that it all depended what factory yours got made at and when they ran out of the separate planks and went to plywood....

i too am interested in a set enough to ask - mine would need the handbrake in front of the shiftier - i have my metal strips.

The Judging Standards say that plywood began to
appear approximately March 1929.

I am going to make them with the daul high holes and the emergency brake to the left. Also i will make a few with no cutout on the toe board where the bottom meets the transmission, This was done on the early 28's

I have a June 1929 AA with the Dual high and emergency brake to the front. How much are you charging?

I'm interested! Sounds like your planning on making exactly what I need. (Boy that word "Need" can get you in trouble)!

Where are you at and how much?

I would be interested in 2 sets of the hardwood board floorboards. I would need the parking brake in front of the shifter and no dual high cutouts. In other words, floorboards for regular commercial Model A mid 1928-early '29.

as of now i am not sure what i am going to charge for them, i am going to make a few sets and depending on how fast they sell and the amount i sell will determine price, I just purchasted an original set for patterns so they will be original sizes

I would be interested but it's going to depend on price before I commit.
