I installed a modern seal on the input shaft of the Warford in my 1930 AA in an attempt to stop the flow of gear oil going into my 4 speed transmission.
It seems to have worked,

Re: warlord oil seal
these didn't make it into the previous post, the seal had to be pressed in from the rear which means removing the inner race

Re: warlord oil seal
Thanks, I've driven it 70 miles since installing the seal and so far it's not loosing any appreciable amount of gear oil.
Re: Warford oil seal
i knew i had some "seal fear" from reading a post a while back. i wonder what would have been there originally. nothing? i think i will order a seal and install. i can see the number, where did you purchase it? has anyone else had this oil flowing issue?? thank your for your time and photos. what type of seal did you use on the coupler? rope, o ring?
Re: Warford oil seal
