Bumper bolts?

Post by John - NNY »

Where can I get the correct carrage bolts that mount the 1931 (single bar) bumper to the bumper brackets? Also where can I get the correct nuts and bolts (4) that secure the bumper brackets to the frame.

Thanks,
John

The Bratton's catalog has the three carriage bolts listed ($3.00). Ad says that the carriage bolt heads is stainless steel covered. Maybe the cover can be eliminated. Let us know if you contact Bratton's and find that the have them in stock please.

The bumper brackets use the same bracket to frame hardware as the A. These are the radiator splash shield mounting studs, nuts, and locks. The vendors carry these. Are the nuts (which show) like original? Probably not (like most vendor nuts and bolts).
