spartan horns
Are there different shapes or styles of horns used on different vehicles or vehicle years. i am trying to track down a horn for the truck and i see many different ones and am especially surprised by the price ranges . can you tell /show me the differences between the stewart warner $$$ and the reg spartan and what about the klaxon where does that fit in the range i read model A's were equiped with the spartans. thanks ahead for the input and pics

I suggest that you get the Judging Standards and Restoration Guides from MAFCA or MARC. This document contains lots of information including a section regarding the horns.
The A and AA used the same horn. They all look the same except for minor differences between the five suppliers and a total of fifteen different versions among the suppliers depending on month/year. Klaxon is not one of the suppliers. Suppliers were Sparton, Steware-Warner, A.E., Ames, G.I.M.
