Matt,
Why do you say that only steel drums are interchangeable front and rear? I have cast drums
on my mail truck and the front and rear are the same. Are you thinking of the fronts with the
hub and drum cast together? My cast drums have early 40's casting dates on them so I assume
they were replaced by the Post Office in the 40's.
