AA express bed "Walton Special"
AA express bed "Walton Special"
I got a bed with some trading the other day. I think it is an express bed like the one on the Walton's truck on TV. Is there a place I can see a picture of one of these beds? What is it worth?

If you e-mail me so that I will know your e-mail address I can send you a photo of my 89A Express Bed. It looks like the TT Expess Bed except it has small wheel wells.

AA Express Bodies
The 1927 through 1930 AA express is like a large Model A pickup body. The AA express is 4' wide by about 7' long. This body looks the same as a TT express body at first glance. However, the AA express has wheel wells and the sills are tapered (plus other small differences).
The 1931 AA express is quite different. It has metal sides, front panel, and tail gate but all are lined with wood on the inside.
I can't see how to attach pictures to this post. So, I will try to send you an e-mail with a couple of pictures of each body style.
