captain marty's 28 fire truck
I notice my wheels are spoked and I see other AA trucks are not. Why is this? I tryed to post a photo but it is too large and I don't know how to reduce the size.

Re: captain marty's 28 fire truck
The early '28 AA's had the steel spoke wheels. They were replaced in late '28 and '29 by Ford made 6-hole disc wheels, then the Budd 5-hole disc wheels for the rest of production. A couple specialist body styles in the later years had steel spoke as well.
The AA steel spoke wheels are not the same as the A wheels, quite a bit heavier in construction, and are very difficult to find.
Very cool fire truck by the way. My '30 pick-up is done as a fire chief's car.
