Rim Type and Year of Use

Post by bgj1956 »

Neil/Everyone, I have four 20" wheels that have 6 holes in them, ( took them to have sand blasted ) I bought tires and rims together, I just wanted the tires, what do this rims go to, early AA after wire wheels were discontinued ? Thanks Bruce in southern OHIO

By holes I mean cut outs in rims, they do fit an AA, the dish is inset and on the 5 hole rims that are on my truck, the center of rim extends out.

This is a picture of what the wheels look like that were used after the wires and to the end of 1929.
I would guess this is what you have but without a pic hard to be sure.
Is this what they look like?

This is a pic that I saved for reference and not mine.
May be a pic of a truck belonging to someone here.

I see your cat is like mine. You bring out the camera and here comes the cat. Must be a female. Neat truck.
