AA dump spare tires

Post by Canadianeheh »

I have recently come across a source that states that dump trucks all had fender mounted spares. My questions are, what do you people think about that? Does the driver's door accually open properly if you have a fender spare?

AA Fender Spare Wheel Carrier

Post by Neil Wilson »

As per the February 5th and March 10th Service Letters, the left fender spare wheel carrier did not starts production until February 1931. AA trucks proir to February 1931 could not have been factory fitted with this carrier.

It would be of interest to know the source of your information!
