I think that may be an oxymoron...

How about an AA soft top? (roadster?)

There were such things. Ford's cabs came in both soft and "hard" top versions, and there are many pictures of soft-top AA's. I've never actually seen one restored that way, though there are many roadster pickups around. Wouldn't be that hard to do and would be pretty cool.

I found this photo on the web. The truck has 1970's type stickers on the license plate.
I would love to see it IRL.

Chris,

Yeh, that's one cool AA!!! If I recall correctly, that truck was owned by a gent in southern California in the 1970's. Explains the '70's vehicle registration tabs. I'm pretty darn sure there was a photo(s) of it in "The Restorer" and/or "Model 'A' News" magazines back during the '60's or '70's. And, again, if I recall correctly, the cab was not originally on this AA. The roadster cab was an A cab. The guy's name is on the tip of my tongue, but I just can't seem to get it out. If you find out more about it, please tell us about it.
