Brake buddy

On e bay there is a brake buddy tool to set up the brakes on a model A? Do i need one of these to set up my brakes on my truck?

I just replaced all four wheel brakes and I did'nt have any buddy to help me. I have no idea what a brake buddy is but I got alone great without it.

It has been really HOT here in Maine the past week. I have been working on my AA. So it being so hot I would take a break and have "BUD"dy
