Re: try again
Tom, yes that is a '32 BB Express. First full year of the steel tops on the cab. I would say that box is quite rare, too bad the rear fenders are so beat up, I'm sure they are scarce as hen's teeth. The spring perches and shackles and shackle bolts were all pretty bad on my '32, but I had new bolts made, and did alot of rebuilding worn areas with the welder and grinder and reboring and installing new bushings. There doesn't seem to be much stuff out there for the '32 to '34s, and there were quite a few differences in things within those 3 years and many differences from the AA. Club member E.Moore is probably your best hope for help finding parts.

Re: try again
According to the Dec. 20, 1932 parts list, the BB front axle and BB front spring perch for the '32 are the same as the '30/'31 AA. So, that should help. The radius rod for the BB is listed as a separate part number.

Re: try again
modelah, and Neil. Thanks for your replies. I took the Spring perches to a local fabricator yesterday, and he is going to make a new shaft for the broken one, and try to tighten up the the tops of both. By the way the perches were marked AA and beneath that, the number
3032, and either B or D. Is that a part number, or a reference to fitting 30 to 32?
Thanks again

Tom,
When you say "tighten up the tops" if you mean make the hole for the stud on
the brake operating lever smaller DON'T. That hole needs to be big or you will
never get the stud to go in.

Re: try again
Thanks Bob C. What I meant, was to try to tighten up the bushing area for the shackle bushing. I will go to his shop on Monday, and tell him about your suggestion. I really appreciate any advice I can get with this project. I am an old school motorhead, but have never worked on anything this old.
