I just want to thank you forum users for replying to my cry for help.
The information provided by the users of this forum, in particular Neil's detailed description on how the U-joint is bolted to the end of the dual drive unit, helped and I finally got the darned thing apart.
Now I have my '29 stripped completely down to the frame and can go forward from here.
Thanks Again. I will be using this forum quite a few number of times I suspect...
