options for the Model AA
options for the Model AA
I was perusing the bill of sale that is in my 1965 Falcon and was amazed at how little was available as options compared to today. My question is how much of an option list was available for an AA truck and are aftermarket options[other than Ford] a liability at shows? Den

A fun book is:
Those Wondefful Unauthorized Accessories
For Model A ford
You can get it at most places that sell Model A parts.
It shows options for A, AA. A tractors, A and AA snowmobiles. and lots of other things.
A real great book to look at.

Re: options for the Model AA
There's a great book available on the A and AA trucks that catalogs alot of the "options". Most were things like governors, grab rails, fender lights, and hoists of various kinds. There was a huge after-market industry around the Model T, Model A, and Model AA's and as they say, "some were useful, some were attractive, and many were just scams."
