Outer nuts on duals

Post by vtwinsideways »

Can anyone tell me off hand what wrench size the outer nuts on '30-'31 dual wheel set-ups are? Dad and I are driving 120 miles to pull an AA out of a field. We are taking round wheels and a gallon of dexron ATF with us to get it rolling. I'm not too fond of the idea of getting there and finding that I haven't brought the right wrenches. Thanks in advance. Luke

It is 1 1/2 inch. If you can go to a place like Northern Tool and purchase a socket and breaker bar and a can of WD40, you'll save yourself a lot of cussin later.

Thanks so much fellas. Just wanted to make sure before we go. The ATF works better than WD40, in fact it's worked better for me that any of the rust blasters, freeze off's and penetrating oils I've bought over the years. Luke
