Price of "AA" rims?
Price of "AA" rims?
A friend just joined our Model "A" Club and purchased a "AA" with a stake bed. He also found a fuel tank and wants to put it on the back and would like to have dual wheels. He located three '30 rims. The guy wants $75.00 each if he takes all three rims. We think this is a little high but do not have anything to base that price on. What is the going price for "AA" rims? They have surface rust but are not badly pitted. Thanks for any replies. Don/WI

I found a '31 wheel at a junk yard in fair shape (one dent in it) for $50.

I would say that $75 isn't bad.

Re: Price of "AA" rims?
Just my opinion, but if they have good usable lock rings with the rims $50 - $75 is a real good price.
I know that good rims can be found but finding ones with good lock rings is not that easy.

Hey, $75.00 isn't bad if it's in good shape and he has the split rings. I have a 30's wheel w/ring I'm selling for $50.00, and it's been powder coated black, but it does have a pitted area.

You could call Bert's in Denver, Colorado, and see what they are asking, just for comparison.
