Is that the x-member that has the spare tire carrier riveted to it? If so, mine is exposed with no bed over the top of it and i could get ya a good pic or two. What's your wheelbase? Mine is 131.5".
Everybody likes pics.

The #6 is the is the last one on the end of the bed. :) There is a pic of it in the Double A'er, April 2010 edition, page 22. I also include an illustration that was in the "How to Restore Your Model A, Volume 7". The illustration displayed is Version #3. :o
The AA-188 prefix replaced the prior AA-88 and had 3 versions;
Version #1 :12/27 through end of run 28
Version #2 :end of run 28 to mid 28
Version #3 :mid 28 through 2/31

A while back Neil Wilson posted a Ford Factory photo of the rear of the 1929 AA used on the home page. I tried to find it without success. It's on one of his responses. Best, Ed

First of all, the body model for the platform is 88-A (1927 through Feb. 1931). Body model number 188-A was assigned to the stake racks. Attached is a Ford archive photo of the rear (#6) 88-A platform cross member which would be correct for a mid 1928 through Feb. 1931 AA131. Sorry, that the complete cross member is not shown.
