I bought this truck in '03 with the pictured turn signals already on it. Correct or not, this is the way someone did it.

This is what I came up with. The signal is a vintage aftermarket light mostly used on motorcycles. They are being reproduced again for a reasonable price. The clamps are Model A/AA stainless license plate clamps with a longer bolt added and hollowed out for the wire. A fuel line hose stands in as conduit to another drilled bolt in the back/bottom of the headlight. They will soon be replaced by a shortened A horn conduit to improve the look. Luke

Identical ones are available thru
http://stores.ebay.com/ClassicCycleParts-Online
for 19.99 a pair. They have red, blue, green, clear and amber, so be careful what you order. Several other sellers also have them on EBay.
Similar ones at JC Whitney with or without visors for $11.99 each.

How about a different socket that would change that little light on top of the headlight into a parklamp/signal combination?
Or, cowl lamps from an A?..

The King Bee has a signal built in, and Vintiques has a similar one specifically made for the 28-29s.

Should be a simple socket switch. I know the little ones I used are available with dual elements. Shouldn't be too hard to find a small dual element light & socket to replace the singles in the "on top" style signals, however finding them in 6V could be a little more difficult these days. Luke
