31 Service Car (tow truck)

Here is some photo's of my 229A (tow truck) that was built in the San Francisco plant. It was bought new by Pozi Motors in Carson City NV, a Ford dealer at the time. The Gentleman I bought it from bought it from Mr. Pozi in 1968. I am the third owner. As you can see, it has the wide rear fender's and running boards. Notice the difference in the bed from the other truck on this site. That truck has a non-factory bed... i.e. wood top rails and rear opening etc. (Stephen Salazar has a twin to this truck in southern California he bought from Bill Cilker in San Jose.) Note: The wrecker is a Manley.

Awesome Beauty, really inspiring. I want those fenders, and If the guys at American Chopper can make fenders fit just about anything, I bet we could also!.
